Val Gardena is ready!
Thanks to the last snowfalls and the snow-making facilities that are perfectly working, the first cable cars in Val Gardena will open on 02.12.2010. The cold air from the Arctic has reached in recent days Val Gardena and the temperatures drop extremely and the different cable car companies in Val Gardena immediately took the opportunity and activated the different snow making machines.
At 2,300 meters above sea level the temperatures have been reached -12 ° Celsius. Also thanks to recent snowfalls in recent days, on higher altitudes there is a consistent mantle of snow. Certainly a good omen for the forthcoming winter-season.
